They tell you that you must have a basic wardrobe. LBDs, plain shirts, plain trousers, plain, plain, plain...Boring!
And what about T-shirts? Yes, plain white, plain black, plain any colour...Boring!
So what if you add a little custom touch? It's still basic but with your own twist.
I took one of my plain white spaghetti Ts and decided to add a crochet border only to the front.
I used crochet thread size 5 in lilac and grey, a 0.60 mm hook for the first row (crocheted very loosely) and a 1,75 mm hook for the rest of the rows.
As for the pattern, I found a beautiful and simple collar here and made it fit the front edge of the T-shirt, adding a 5th row of sc in grey.
You see? A customised chic T-shirt that you can make in no time at all and at a very little cost.
Do you like it?
By the way, guess who's got it in her wardrobe now...?
That's all for today which is no small thing.
Catch you next Sunday!
