Battle with the Stripes

Where is Wally? Clue: It's above the logo...

Today I’m going to share with you some Aha! moments that other people have had to avoid seams or jogs when knitting and crocheting stripes in the round.

I love stripes but I always ended up with my work looking horrible when joining or working in the round. Fortunately there are people out there who think and share their knowledge!

Flower Power- Sold Out!

OK, the name of this set is more appropriate for spring time, so what?

My brain doesn't like winter but my body says “keep me warm, keep me warm” (high pitch here). So, how do I make my brain and my body happy at the same time? That’s it! The Flower Power beret and scarf set!

The Flower Power beret’s got a flower appliqué and the infinite scarf has been crocheted following a lace pattern of flowers, flowers and more flowers...but as I’ve used a mohair yarn it’s super-warm.

Tweed Short Cowl Pattern

Mrs. Soft Kitty is cold-sensitive but she doesn't like long scarves so I came up with this super-warm short cowl for her.

This pattern is easy, in fact it’s easy as pie. I was wondering if to publish it but it worked so well with the yarn that I chose that I felt the urgent need of sharing it with you.

New season at "mira que punto!"

This is my first post after more-or-less a year in which I have been rearranging everything.
I’m as happy as a clam to present to you the novelties of mira qué punto!

Firstly, there is a new section for knitted/crocheted garments for “humans”. I will continue offering products and info for Blythe lovers (for newbies, Blythe is an adorable japanese doll I’m obsessed with) but with the work philosophy of the new section, aka: OOAK garments knitted/crocheted using high quality yarns and threads and, of course, made with lots of love.

On the other hand I will post in Tips tricks and ideas that I have found out on internet. If you are a knitting/crocheting lover like me I’m sure they will make your work easier.

In Patterns you will find knitting/crocheting patterns that I’ found out on the internet and I really like and of my own.

Last but not least, thanks and a big hug for Mc Husband for his help and infinite patience. He’s made the 3D model and 3D printing of the mira qué punto! logo for the little pegs that you see in the pictures and the labels of the garments (lovely, aren’t they?) and for some of the attrezzo I will be using.

After all this blahblahblah here you have the first outfit of the new season.
